Precautions for use of fiber-reinforced resin cutting wheels

Fiber-reinforced resin cutting wheels are mainly used for rough grinding of large surfaces of metal workpieces on vertical shaft grinders, and also for polishing of stone and terrazzo floors. Due to the different clamping methods, the shape of the grinding wheel is also different. According to the cross-sectional shape, grinding wheels can be divided into flat (rectangular), fan-shaped, flat-convex and trapezoidal. What are the precautions in the use of fiber reinforced resin cutting grinding wheels?
1. Check the grinding wheel for cracks before installation, and tap the grinding wheel with a wooden hammer to hear whether there is any abnormal sound. If there is, the grinding wheel cannot be used to avoid personal injury caused by the grinding wheel breaking.
2. The grinding wheel that is newly installed or used every other day should be idled for more than one minute before use. If everything is normal, it can be used according to the relevant safety regulations of the grinding machine.
3. Since the grinding wheel is fragile, please do not let it be hit, bumped or dropped, during storage, it should be protected from freezing and moisture. Keep the room cool and ventilated, lay it flat, stack it neatly, pay attention to dustproof, keep the unused grinding wheel clean, and don't press it heavily.
4. When installing the grinding wheel, it must be aligned with the center of the grinding wheel and fastened with a flange. After installing the flange, check whether the outer circle of the grinding wheel is concentric with the main shaft, and at least one side of the grinding wheel is perpendicular to the center line of the main shaft.
5. After installing the grinding wheel, for safety reasons, please do not install a qualified protective cover before starting the machine.
